Small Group Experiences
Small group experiences at St. Francis of Assisi Parish may take the form of organized small group programs through the parish itself or resources provided for already existing small groups. These resources can also be used by small groups of friends, neighbors, or other associations.

Opportunities at St. Francis
- Disciples in Mission Women’s Study Group
The St. Francis Ladies Disciples in Mission (DIM) group offers scripture study and faith sharing in a welcoming small group setting. Virtual meetings are held one Friday each month. All adult women are welcome to DIM’s programs and we have many members who attend other parishes. DIM members support each other through a confidential prayer ministry and also voluntarily support two charities: Little Sisters of the Poor in Baltimore and Glenmary Home Missioners, which aims to bring a Catholic presence to every rural county of the nation. Members also participate in an annual service project preparing boxes of toiletry items and other necessities for clients of the Apostleship of the Sea in Baltimore.
DIM meets at the parish once a month on Friday mornings after the 9am Mass.
Check back soon for the topic of our Fall Study. The following dates are currently scheduled: September 9th, October 14th, November 11th, December 9th, January 20th and weekly during Lent.
